Design and Experiment on a Distributed Seed Delivery System with a Pneumatic Central-Cylinder Seeder

A distributed seed delivery system is the most important component of a pneumatic central-cylinder seeder. We performed fluent simulation analysis for seed-drop tubes at different parameters and airflow velocities, with an increase in air velocity, larger angle is, easier it to produce vortex, which considerably changes angle, little bend tube improving uniformity seeding performance. The distribution rice seeds furrow using angles was also analyzed, rice-sowing belts aggregated toward central line, forward speed, forward-speed direction presented aggregation then dispersion trend. field experiment physiological indices show that yield germination acceleration by pelleting can reach 7.92 t. ha−1, significantly higher than yields other treatments.
